The device-to-workflow handoff

Configuration, connectivity, file transfer and troubleshooting.

Illustrative workflow / based on the work

Connect the output to the next useful step.

Configured Topcon-to-Barti file imports, then replaced the earlier script-based transfer workflow with FileBridge. The diagram describes that file handoff; other devices used their own interfaces and settings.

Explore the stages to trace the handoff.

Keep the device-specific details visible

Topcon, NIDEK and other ophthalmic systems required distinct serial, Bluetooth, file-output or workstation troubleshooting. This illustration does not imply one deployed interface for every device. Supore work included field conversion and serial-access constraints.

Configuration and troubleshooting

Completed Topcon-to-Barti configuration and confirmed successful file imports. Resolved NIDEK serial communication, diagnostic workstation and shared-folder connectivity issues. Work included serial/Bluetooth settings and documented device-to-workstation handoff procedures.

FileBridge and MyBuddi

FileBridge replaced an earlier batch/VBScript/Task Scheduler transfer approach with an application for file movement and naming. MyBuddi addresses inventory and IT-operation ticketing needs.

Mapping the handoff

Device requirements varied by configuration. The work covered serial capture, XML output, shared-folder transfers and Barti imports, including successful Topcon-to-Barti file imports. Supore interface evaluation focused on field mapping, JSON/XML conversion and serial-port constraints.
