The workflow behind the product
Reading a book produces questions and annotations. StudiBuddi brings those activities into a connected study workspace instead of leaving them scattered across sessions.
Build around continuity
Book-related comments and topic questions preserve the context of the reading experience across devices. The project includes hands-on application testing and iteration.
A personal application
The project brings together product thinking, interface design and application testing around a focused study workflow.
01 / A place to return
Keep the next session in view.
The overview brings the study library, question bank and review cues into one workspace. PDFs stay local by default; reading supports highlights, notes and freehand annotations.
02 / Practice with context
Build recall from the reading.
Quiz Studio supports manually written questions, structured imports and optional AI-assisted generation. Immediate answer feedback and attempt history feed later review; generated questions still need source checking.
03 / Choose the storage
Local first. Sync when useful.
Use a local workflow with ZIP backup and restore, or choose optional Google Drive or OneDrive sync. The same provider and account are needed on both devices. Audio review uses device text-to-speech.
The build
From recurring need to reusable software.
The product connects reading, annotation, question practice and audio review in one study workflow. A shared TypeScript/React interface is packaged with Electron on Windows and Capacitor on Android. Local data, optional provider sync and portable backups are separate concerns in the design.
