Personal software / Anatomy Atlas

Anatomy AtlasBuild the body.
Explore the relationships.

An educational anatomy application with a 3D assembly workspace, reference exploration and a short physiology lesson. Built for browser and Android by adapting Human Atlas and openly licensed anatomy datasets.

01 / Learn through placement

Turn a structure into a spatial question.

Choose a structure, place it inside the reference silhouette and check its position. Rotation, zoom, fine adjustments, optional target assistance and undo support the exercise. The placement tolerance is an educational aid, not a clinical assessment.

02 / Connect structure and function

Follow a circuit. Check the idea.

The Learn workspace pairs a schematic circulation animation with six physiology knowledge checks. Its purpose is to connect anatomical structures with an introductory explanation; the animation is not a physiological simulation.

03 / Continue on the device

The same study idea, on Android.

Bundled models support offline use without an account. Progress stays on the device, separately for the chosen reference and library. Male and female references have different source coverage; they are not equivalent complete anatomical models.

The build

Make the workflow understandable.

React, TypeScript and Three.js provide the browser experience; Capacitor packages it for Android. The renderer is adapted from ashemag’s Human Atlas. Reference anatomy comes from BodyParts3D and a composite of Human Reference Atlas / HuBMAP and Visible Human Female sources. Dataset gaps and approximate borrowed structures remain documented. This is educational software, not a diagnostic or surgical-planning tool.
